Innovative Planning Solutions is a specialist consultancy based on the Sunshine Coast providing town planning and allied professional services to diverse clientele throughout Queensland and interstate. Our firm has been established for over 15 years and is growing from strength to strength.
We are committed to delivering bespoke planning outcomes with a collaborative and personalised approach and offer a diverse range of planning expertise. Specialist areas include: planning strategy advice, strategic and master planning, development applications, due diligence and site investigations, highest and best use analysis, expert witness testimony and preparation of urban design concepts.
The Role
- Due to recent growth we are looking to expand our team with an experienced and outcome focussed town planner. The is a full time role and will involve:
- Provision of professional town planning advice to a diverse range of clients
- Coordination of sub-consultants and other specialists to provide holistic planning outcomes
- Attendance at meetings with Council, State, clients and other consultants
- Resolution of complex planning issues
- Preparation of a full range of town planning correspondence
- Conducting planning research and investigations.
- Assisting team members in meeting client needs as required.
About You:
- Tertiary qualification in town planning
- 3 – 5 years in a similar role
- An understanding of town planning principles and methods and the ability to apply them;
- Foundational knowledge of the Queensland planning framework
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to problem solve and exercise initiative to find solutions
- Self-motivated and resourceful individual who is comfortable working on range of varied and challenging projects
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Excellent social skills
Remuneration and benefits
Competitive renumeration and benefits will be provided commensurate with experience, ranging from $70,000pa to $90,000pa, excluding superannuation.
