Following a successful Southern Region networking event in Cooma this year, we will hear more from Queanbeyan Palerang and will focus on topics of concern to all planning practitioners in NSW, particularly Affordable Housing Strategies, and will outline the responses and approaches being made by Queanbeyan Palerang Regional Council.

The event will include:

• Virtual tour and description of planning "hot spots" in QP including two Urban Renewal Areas and development pressure areas in the region.
• An overview of significant development proposals/DAs with reference to Council's response to the Minister's Expectations Order.
• Update on strategic projects including CBD infill strategy, affordable housing strategy, GIS project work and Braidwood historic town.
• Council initiated planning proposals.
