About the Award
The Outstanding Woman in Planning Award recognises women’s contributions to planning outcomes, policy and practice.
This award is presented to a female planner who has made an outstanding contribution to planning in SA in the preceding 24 months. Nomination criteria include: an outstanding commitment to professional work; an outstanding contribution in leadership, operational, volunteering and mentoring roles within South Australia; and strong support for women in the related built environment profession(s).
Eligibility
The Outstanding Woman In Planning Award is an individual award and women planners at any career stage and across all career levels are eligible for nomination. This includes roles in leadership, operational, volunteering and mentoring. 澳门2023全年正版免费资料 membership is not a requirement for nomination. We invite you to nominate yourself, a female colleague, friend or peer. Self-nomination is welcomed but must be accompanied by three independent testimonials.
Details of nominees will not be publicly disclosed prior to the announcement of our winner.

Selection Criteria
This Award recognises and promotes the outstanding contribution made by a woman at any level of their career, and who exemplifies a holistic approach to her work through commitment to professional outcomes and support of other women to achieve greater diversity within the planning profession and related natural and built environment sectors.
1/ An outstanding commitment to professional work, in either project, activity or operational based aspects of planning in the preceding 12-24 months and either paid or as a volunteer.
2/ An outstanding contribution to the built environment profession(s) in the State including regional South Australia, either in a leadership or an operational role, volunteer work or mentoring.
3/ Strong support for women in the built environment profession(s) at either the local, regional or State level.
How to enter your nomination
Please submit the completed nomination form provided below along with a written statement addressing the selection criteria (max. 400 words for each criterion) and high-resolution headshot via email to sa@planning.org.au.
All nominations must be submitted by 11:59pm on January 19, 2025.
The winner will be announced at the on Tuesday 4th March 2025.
